Lac Qui Parle Lake Walleye Tournament
Saturday, June 10th, 2023
43rd Annual Lac qui Parle Lake Walleye Tournament is set for Saturday, June 10th, 2022.
We are sending applications out in the next couple of weeks to those who participated in last year’s event four weeks prior to the general posting of information to enable last year’s participants to register early. The tournament will be limited to 60 teams. Last year’s participants have until April 30, 2023 to register for this year’s tournament. If a team registered for the 2022 tournament decides to split, with each fisherman obtaining a new partner, the captain of the original team (the one whose name appeared first on the registration blank) retains the spot and the second person & their new partner must go on the “waiting list” for the opening to the general public. On May 6, 2023, registrations for any remaining spots will be opened to the general public. Entry fees for those registering after the 60 team entries have been reached will be returned to registrants. Please make sure to mail your registration so that it reaches us postmarked on or prior to April 30, 2023.
Please return the registration form, membership form and release of liability form along with your registration fee for the tournament. As noted above, in order to fish in the tournament, you need to be a current member of the Lake Association. A payment of $10 per fisherman will give you membership until April 1, 2024 and you will become a member of an organization dedicated to saving the natural resources of Lac qui Parle Lake. Entry fee for the tournament itself is $100 per fisherperson ($200 per team). Total payment is $220 per team with entry and membership.
