The 44th Annual Lac qui Parle Lake Association Walleye Tournament took place on Saturday, June 8th.  53 boats headed out in hopes of bringing 5 fish to the scales.  99 walleyes were weighed in for a total of 241.7 lbs.  Matt Fernholz and Grady Fernholz took top honors weighing in 3 fish for 18.33 lbs, including  biggest walleye of the day weighing 8.02 lbs and took home a check for $3,150, which included option pot money.  Second Place went to Eric Spray and Adam Spray who weighed 4 fish for 15.87 lbs, they took home $2,066 in prize money, which included option pot money.  Corey Reiffenberger and Brian Hanson took third place weighing in 5 fish for 13.37 pounds good for $1,525, which included option pot money.  Fourth place was Bob Hoium and Rick Hoium who weighed 2 fish for 10.07 lbs worth $662.  Fifth place went to Dylan Lines and Garret Suchanek who weighed 4 fish for 9.98 lbs, good for $530 in prize money.

Thank you to all those who competed, we hope to see you again next year.  We would also like to Thank our tournament director Brett Jacobs.  We would also like to Thank board member Andy Johnson and his family, along with Marcia Golden and Steve Mitlyng for all of their help in preparing for this year's tournament.
