The 42nd Annual Lac qui Parle Lake Association Walleye Tournament took place on Saturday, June 11th.  50 boats headed out in hopes of bringing 5 fish to the scales.  99 walleyes were weighed in for a total of 288.32 lbs.  Scott Monson and Jeff Andreas took top honors weighing in 5 fish for 19.23 lbs, including  biggest walleye of the day weighing 8.80 lbs and took home a check for $3240, which included option pot money.  Second Place went to Ryan Hoium and Lucas Hoium who weighed 5 fish for 17.11 lbs, they took home $1,930 in prize money, which included option pot.  Chad Mortenson and Maurice Wollschlager took third place weighing in 3 fish for 15.57 pounds good for $1,426, which included option pot money.  Fourth place was Tony Malmquist and Jordan Fischer who weighed 4 fish for 14.57 lbs worth $625.  Fifth place went to Corey Joyce and Steve Benson who weighed 2 fish for 13.27 lbs, including the second biggest fish, good for $700 in prize money.

Thank you to all those who competed, we hope to see you again next year.  We would also like to Thank our tournament director Brett Jacobs.  We would also like to Thank board member Andy Johnson and his family, along with Marcia Golden and Steve Mitlyng for all of their help in preparing for this year's tournament.
