​The 41st Annual Lac qui Parle Lake Walleye Tournament was greeted with northwest winds and warm temperatures.  60 boats headed out in hopes of bringing 5 fish to the scales.  134 walleyes were weighed in for a total of 299.4 lbs.  Mike Halvorson and Josh Fernholz took top honors weighing in 5 fish for 16.45 lbs, including second biggest walleye of the day weighing 7.18 lbs and took home a check for $3,712, which included option pot money.  Second Place went to Jon Jerve and Paul Jerve who weighed 5 fish for 14.14 lbs, including the biggest walleye of the day weighing 7.71 lbs.  They took home $2,612 in prize money, which included option pot.  Bob Henderson and Larry Henderson took third place weighing in 4 fish for 12.2 pounds good for $1708, which included option pot money.  Fourth place was Tom Kuhlmann and Tyler Flattum who weighed 5 fish for 12.08 lbs worth $750.  Fifth place went to Ryan Hoium and Lucas Hoium who weighed 5 fish for 11.69 lbs good for $600 in prize money.

Thank you to all those who competed, we hope to see you again next year.  We would also like to Thank our tournament director Susan Stensrud, who completed her final year as the director.  We would also like to Thank board member Andy Johnson and his daughter for all of their help in preparing for this year's tournament.
